Chamikara Janapriya is a distinguished infrastructure professional and strategic leader, currently serving as Consultant Team Leader, where he provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and professional oversight to the organisation. He holds a B.Sc. in Physical Science from the University of Colombo and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Mathematics, while currently pursuing an LL.B. (Honours) degree.
With extensive experience in major road and infrastructure development projects, Chamikara has held senior-level responsibilities across both contracting and consultancy environments, contributing to complex projects from planning through successful delivery. His professional portfolio also encompasses diverse business ventures, reflecting a strong understanding of commercial and operational environments.
His technical expertise covers the full spectrum of construction materials from raw material evaluation to finished products, with particular proficiency in concrete and asphalt. He is experienced in materials testing, quality assurance, and compliance with internationally recognised BS and AASHTO standards. Combining technical depth, analytical capability, and decisive leadership, Chamikara brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every project he undertakes.
